Char Dham Yatra has a special place in Hindu Religion. In this MahaYatra according to mythological where Gangotri and Yamunotri are the places which are the form of god in the earth and Kedarnath is the place where Lord Shiva lives and in Badrinath lord, Vishnu live. So that we cant say Char Dham Yatra is a Yatra its a life visit Yatra.

Badrinath is known as Vaikuntha Dham and Ma Gangotri is known as Fruitful, and Ma Yamunotri is known as the daughter of lord sun, and the most of them which are visited by devotees Kedarnath Ji is known as Lord Shiva's Dham.

According to religious belief, Char Dham Yatra starts from Haridwar and Rishikesh. According to these Char Dham Yatra religious belief, we visit these places as West to east starts from Yamunotri and then Gangotri, Shri Kedarnath Ji and at the last Shri Badrinath Ji.

The Char Dham Yatra takes place every year in Uttarakhand and is the holiest journey in Hinduism. It is opened only for 6 months every year, as the yatra was closed to devotees in the year 2020 due to Coved19. The Char Dham Yatra for the upcoming season of 2021 is being prepared by the government to provide good facilities along with the safety of devotees.
