Char Dham Yatra 2021 | Char Dham Opening Dates

The Char Dham Yatra takes place every year in Uttarakhand and is the holiest journey in Hinduism. It is opened only for 6 months every year, as the yatra was closed to devotees in the year 2020 due to Coved19. The Char Dham Yatra for the upcoming season of 2021 is being prepared by the government to provide good facilities along with the safety of devotees. As we all know that due to Coved19 our major steps are being taken to prevent coved19 during the journey and to make Char Dham safe for the passengers.


As we know, the Char Dham Yatra begins on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, which falls between April or May every year. On the 14th of May, in 2021, the auspicious time is coming for the upcoming Akshaya Tritiya of Char Dham Yatra. It is to be said by the pious priests of the temple committee that the doors of the holy shrine at Yamunotri will be opened on the day of Akash Tritiya and after that, the other three remaining places will be opened to the devotees.
